The stainless steel cable net, often called a “zoo mesh,” is widely used for designing animal fences. The most common applications of zoo nets are birdhouses and animal enclosures. You can create a closed natural environment for animals with it. The stainless zoo net is mainly used for monkey fences and bird aviaries. However, it also suits predators like Siberian tigers, leopards, and snow leopards. In principle, you can use the mesh grid for most terrestrial animal species. Its flexibility brings a soft touch close to nature. It effectively protects animal feathers and fur, prevents rodents, and provides animals with a safe and comfortable living environment.

Stainless steel knotted rope nets enable tourists to observe animals better and prevent injuries. In other words, they safely shorten the distance between visitors and animals. Our stainless steel zoo net is a cable net that restricts animal activities. It is powerful and flexible and can absorb violent impacts. That is, it can resist bad-tempered animals and prevent injuries at the same time. The smooth surface of the stainless steel zoo net protects animal fur from clamping. Most zoo nets use two types of stainless steel net: knotted cable net and ferrule cable net. See the figure below.

    Stainless steel zoo mesh types:

    • 1. Knotted Zoo Mesh is a plain weave; each warp wire rope crosses alternately above and below each weft wire rope. Warp and weft wire ropes generally have the same diameter.
    • 2. Ferruled Stainless Mesh has the same physical properties as the knotted Mesh, and the only difference is in the combination style; the stainless wire rope mesh is combined by the ferrules, which are made of the same grade stainless steel.

    Stainless steel zoo mesh feature:

    • 1. high-quality material
    • 2. uniform stainless steel mesh
    • 3. standard size
    • 4. strong tensile
    • 5. easy install
    • 6. stainless zoo mesh is long use-life

Manufacturers produce Zoo Wire Mesh in standard diameters of 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.2 mm. Depending on the cable diameter, you can achieve mesh widths from 25 to 200 mm or larger. Producers use high-grade stainless steel cables of 1.4401, AISI316 to create Stainless Steel Rope Mesh. We offer mesh connections (ferrules) in aesthetic stainless steel for premium applications or when corrosion resistance matters. Stretch the stainless steel mesh at a 60-degree angle to form a finished diamond style.
